Fog over a country town — condensation on glass, a hedge losing its edges, a paddock going to haze. The camera works close and far in the same register: droplets on a windowpane, a bird silhouetted at the top of a bare tree, hills dissolving into mist a few hundred metres out. Monochrome, high-contrast; Cootamundra as a place the light hasn't quite let through yet.
